Hermes: A Gateway MT6707 Notebook with an Intel Pentiam Mobile Dual Core processor, 2Gb memory, built in ethernet and wireless G networking, DVD/CD RW drive and 160Gb hard drive.  Hermes runs Windows Vista Home Premium.

The net work is connected by a LynkSys hub and a Wireless G router to the internet through an Actiontech DSL modem.

What I will be doing here is keeping a record of upgrades, modifications, and problems I run into. Hopefully, this will be helpful to other people who are interested in setting up a home network
